 2. Passive voice (Thể bị động)
 a/ Simple present tense (thì hiện tại đơn)
 Active Passive
 S + V1 / Vs/es + O S + am /is /are + V-ed/V3+ (by O)
 e.g.: We clean the kitchen very day.

 b/ Modal verbs (can / could / will / would / should / must / have to / has to/ had to / ought to / 
 used to / )

e.g.: He’s written this book for a long time.

* Notes: 
- Nếu chủ ngữ trong câu chủ động là: I, you, he, she, it, we, they, somebody, someone, everybody, 
everyone khi đổi sang bị động không dùng by object. (lược bỏ đi) 
- Trong câu chủ động có trạng từ chỉ thời gian và nơi chốn thì chuyển sang câu bị động như sau:
 nơi chốn + by O + thời gian
e.g.: The postman delivered the letter this morning.
 The letter was delivered by the postman this morning.
 by O + thời gian
- Có already / just / ever / never trong câu chủ động của thì HTHT thì khi chuyển sang bị động:
 S + has/ have + already/ just / ever/ never + been + V-ed/ V3... + (by O)
e.g.: We have just sent this letter to them.
 This letter has just been sent to them.
- Câu chủ động phủ định thì khi chuyển sang câu bị động cũng phủ định
e.g.: No one did the homework yesterday.
 The homework wasn’t done yesterday.
3/ a/ Adjective + to infinitive ( to V)
Sử dụng cấu trúc này với 1 số tính từ như sau: difficult, easy, hard, impossible, dangerous (nguy 
hiểm), safe, expensive, cheap, interesting, happy, glad, pleased,)
e.g.: a/ I’m very glad to see you.
(Tôi rất vui được gặp bạn.)
b/ It’s very difficult to find a good job here.
(Thật là khó để tìm được việc làm tốt ở đây.)
c/ This street is very dangerous to go alone at night.
(Con đường này rất nguy hiểm để đi một mình vào buổi tối.)
