 Do you know how to start a compost heap? First of all you must use only vegetable 
matter, which includes tea leaves, egg shells – but wash the shells first – and tissue. Don’t use 
any meat or grain products because this attracts rats. The best place for a compost heap is a 
place that gets a few hours of sunlight each day and remember to turn the compost regularly 
so it gets plenty of air. We should not water the compost. Because it will get moisture through 
condensation. After six months, the compost will be ready to use as fertilize.
