 S + V + O + in order (not) to + V-bare 
 so as (not) to 
S + V + O + so that / in order that + S + will/would /can / could / may / might + V + O 
Ex : He went to France . He wanted to study French . 
→He went to France in order to study French . 
→He went to France so that he could study French . 
 I got up early this morning . I didn’t want to miss the first train . 
→I got up early this morning so as not to miss the first train . 
→I got up early this morning in order that I wouldn’t miss the first train .
