 I. Read the first part of a story about traveling around Viet Nam. 
Last week, while on vacation in Da Lat, the Browns had quite an adventure ( cuộc phiêu 
lưu ). One afternoon, they decided to paddle ( chèo ) around Xuan Huong Lake in a canoe 
( thuyền, xuồng, ca nô ). After hiring ( thuê ) the canoe, the family climbed in and paddled 
out to the middle of the lake. Unfortunately ( không may ), dark clouds ( đám mây đen ) 
soon appeared ( xuất hiện ) and it began to rain.
